Good but very forgettable. At this price you can do better.

A rum tasted in a boutique. A rather complex agricultural nose with well-contained alcohol. Fruity on the palate, with citrus fruit and an interesting vegetal side, including flowers. A slightly short but balanced finish. A fine, well-made rum, but it lacks something to give it emotion.

28.11.2025 Retasting and still find it pretty good. ---------- Thinking about the name of this rum I think it matches pretty well. It may show you the midnight sun if you drink it around that tone of day. I would have preferred a higher ABV, but it still does its magic. Fruity and sweet with nice floral notes supported by some wood and spices. I made a note that the empty glass had some chocolate and spices.

Retasted. A nice balance has been found with this rum. Fresh profile at the beginning then slowly moves towards more woody aromas with a nice length on the palate. The aromas lack impact which makes it unremarkable.
