06.12.2024 The liquid History of Puerto Rico Tasting First of all, many thanks to Artur for the extreme effort and for sharing such old rums at all. The rums themselves were not really spectacular except for a few exceptions, BUT I still really enjoyed it because such rums are no longer available to ordinary mortals and all the background knowledge Artur shared I find incredibly interesting. I really take my hat off to that. Big respect!

Tasting of Puerto Rico rums by Artur. A nose with fruits, yellow fruits and mirabelle, wood and a floral side. The palate is diluted, little fruit and a bit of wood. The finish is quite nice with fruits, flowers and even a slight tar.

Puerto Rico Set Nr. 16: Nose is non-offensive with caramel, vanilla and some wood. Not much complexity or standout character, however. Pretty thin on the palate, dominated by sweetness. Cheers to Artur for curating this set!
