Edit: oxidation brings quite a bit of alcohol anyway. Tasted at Spirits Days in Tournai, quick notes: Nose: ester, fruits, flambéed banana Palate: caramelized banana, a real dessert, esters of course, no big punch on the alcohol (nor the esters). In short: definitely among the top at the fair. Young but really pleasant, and already well marked. Very indulgent for this level of ester and youth. Edit: a bit more hazelnut, and a slightly biting alcohol.

#7014 09.07.2026 Relaxing with a few samples after a busy day at work. Today Spotify plays some tracks by Evoxel, Avalon, Liquid Soul and Sonic Species. A very nice rum with a very good price tag in my mind. Intense profile with overripe fruits, spice, polish, caramel, roasted wood and tannins.

An intriguing but very positive tasting for me. On the nose: bananas, ester, dried fruit and alcohol. On the palate, the same markers are present: ester and the taste of flambéed bananas. Good length. Typical Jamaican rum, very particular, you have to like this style, personally it's very very good for me!

But since Monsieur is obviously in a generous mood at the end of the year, he did not come with just one bottle... but with a second surprise to share: WRHS #1 – Legendary Marques WPE – 65.5% Czech bottler known for his love of young ultra-expressive Jamaicans — and here he stays true to his reputation with a WPE mark, the Extra / High-Ester style of Worthy Park: the most powerful, the funkier, the most characterful of the distillery. This juice spent 30 months in virgin American oak barrels, selected by Premium Spirits Belgium, bringing a unique and frankly bold profile. Designed for connoisseurs as well as demanding enthusiasts, it clearly made an impression around the table! Young but tough, packed with esters, with that typical banana, and a surprising length for its age. Personally, I identify much more with this bottling: explosive, yes... but also truly indulgent! Many thanks to John for sharing 🙏 And as I publish these notes... a much bigger batch seems to be on its way for you 👶🥂

Early Christmas gift so I opened and shared it directly. This review is aggregated opinion of 2 people Nose : Ester, tropical fruits, some kind of fattiness (not butyric like you could get in some other rums, beeswax Taste : Funky, lots of tropical fruits (pineapple, banana), some wood develop a roasted/tanins after some time in the glass Finish : Medium, again on the beeswax, fruity note I'm not getting tired of those low age funky Jamaican, I think warehouse#1 really got a gem here
