Whisky Live Paris 2025. Un nez légèrement alcoolique mais derrière on sent des arômes épicés et chauds avec du poivre, du bois de cèdre, des fruits compotés et trop mûrs. La bouche est douce, sur le vieux bois verni, les fruits secs et trop mûrs, du cuir et des épices. Puis une acidité se développe jusqu’en finale qui est un peu monolithique. Les notes de vieux Demerara dominent ici.

#7013 09.07.2026 Relaxing with a few samples after a busy day at work. Today Spotify plays some tracks by Evoxel, Avalon, Liquid Soul and Sonic Species. Pretty decent release with an OK price tag in my mind. Medium intense profile with polish, tar, caramel, chocolate, nutts, salt, olive, licorice and roasted wood.

17-07-2025 - Rate 8.0 08-08-2025 - Rate 7.7 First tasting was when Club spilt a bottle. Had more time tasting it properly this time. For me the 3rd best of the 3 navy rums. Can’t quit put my finger on it, but I thing it has an overweight of eather some worthy park or perhaps a rum which had a strong wet wood profile. The blend as a whole is good but it has a edge I’m not that found of. Notes of wood, roasted, black pepper and dirt. Palate wood, roasted nuts and sour citrus. Short finish. Can’t taste it for long. Hints of wood and black pepper.
