Several tasters call it a "very nice daily sipper agricole" — floral, round and easy after a meal. Most helpful positive review
Very nice daily sipper agricole, I tasted first time at the GRF 13. Fresh and dry Agricole with sugarcane, vanilla and tropical fruits. Smooth and balanced on the palate with lemon, banana, coconut and spicy wood. The finish is dry, slightly smoky and woody, with tobacco and citrus notes. Elegant and very enjoyable.

A rum that expresses its olfactory qualities by letting it take the temperature or by letting it take your body temperature by cuddling it with your hands on the glass... So be patient before tasting it. On the palate, the first sensation of the cask arrives very quickly replaced by the spicy... Unfortunately a mouthfeel that I would rate very, too, short. A pity. A rather spicy finish but, again, too short. A somewhat short agricole.

#5142 15.03.2025 Running a few samples at home. Nose Fresh, light wood, faint roasted, light nutts, light vegetal, light dried fruit, light apple. Palate Round, smooth, light wood, light pear, light apricot, faint smoke, light vegetal. Finish Medium long, round, light wood, faint smoke, light apple, light dried fruit, medium dry, spice. Empty glass Apricot, light earthy, light smoke, dried fruit.

The container better than the content. An agricole rum with a nice story but a bit sold for its pretty bottle.

Very well balanced rhum. Beight, floral and fruity and vanilla. Less oaky than the Clememt VSOP and much brighter than the XO or the 10 year. Shares a lot of the orange-notes I get in the 10y.
