One reviewer nailed it: "hard to believe it is only 4 years old." Expect the classic Hampden mark — banana, pineapple and strawberry riding a wave of esters, with a touch of glue and young oak. At 62% the alcohol is surprisingly well tucked in. Several tasters call it one of the more fruit-forward, "gourmand" young Hampdens they've had.

Shopbesuch Rhum Attitude Brüssel Mai 2025. Auch eine eigene Abfüllung die ich vor Ort verkosten durfte. Klasse Hampden. Hier überwiegt in Nase und Gaumen natürlich wieder der Ester, sowie die tropischen Früchte (Banane und Ananas).

Dégusté à l'aveugle. J'ai pensé à un Long Pond plutôt qu'un Hampden. Je ne retrouvais pas les marqueurs qui me parlent habituellement. Nez fruité, esterisé, avec beaucoup d'ananas. Bouche à l'avenant, avec un alcool bien présent mais correctement intégré. De la fraise, un petit côté salé. Puis une finale sympa quoique courte, qui amène des notes de pomme verte. Sympa

Beautiful fruity aroma full of esters. And the taste is also ester heaven full of red fruits, bananas, light tannins. A delicious blend of tropical fruits mixed with strawberries resonates on the finish. One of the top Hampdens of the past year.

A brutally fragrant Hampden, the esters and chemistry here are not blinding, a mix of fruit, overripeness and sweetness are given space. It reminds me of the most fragrant Savannahs. On the palate, again, the fruit is at the forefront with a little ester. A huge surprise for such a young piece.

An amazing rum. Very good value for money. Shoutout to rhum attitude, they have been very nice and with amazing hospitality. To the rum: On the nose Minerality, pineapple less glue then expected, strawberry and some young wood. A very nice nose. On the palate Pineapple, marsepan, red and tropical fruits. Some tannjne from the wood it is a bit dry. An amazing combination of fruit, wood, esters and minerality. Finnish It is medium long, more red fruit and quite dry some esters are coming to the main stage again. Conclusion A very nice rum. Amazing nose that follows through in the pallet. Very good combination of esters, fruit and some wood. Hard to believe it is only 4 years old. If you can buy it and like jamaican rum it is a must buy.

Always a pleasure to meet go back to that one Nose : Overripe tropical fruits, banana, pineapple, glue, esters, hints of marzipan Taste : Tropical fruits, esters, alcohol is well integrated, briney, butyric Finish : Long, light wood, solvents I really like this one, and the release price was very good, highly recommended

Nose - typical hampden Taste - strong sweet fruity flavors, going into overripe vegetal/fruity flavours with berry, apple and tropical fruit tones Finish is quite long with clear overripe fruit notes.
