I don't taste the Mezcal Cask at all; on the other hand, I'm all the more enthusiastic about this 2016 TDL, as the ones I've tried so far didn't please me much. Nice peach iced tea, even if this one is a bit milder.

Typical slightly smoky notes from mezcal, light mint, somewhat flat.

Sandy Zamord chose the cask as a reward for his exceptional sales. The rum is very smooth and fruity. The mezcal is well integrated on the palate.

I don't know mezcal barrel as a flavor nuance. That's why I can't assess the influence. But the rum is solid and tasty. For a higher rating, I would have liked clearer mint notes and the peach to be more present.
