#5880 21.10.2025 Enjoying some samples after a positive visit to the eye specialist for my diabetes checkup. Nose Fresh, agricole, sugarcane, citrus, floral, spice, olive, faint smoke, faint chocolate. Palate Oily, warm, agricole, sugarcane, citrus, light floral, olive, light salt, faint smoke, faint sulphor, light vanilla. Finish Medium to long, warm, light grass, sugarcane, citrus, olive, faint salt. Empty glass Olive, citrus, light floral, sugarcane.

Damoiseau Blanc 55 is produced by the Bellevue distillery on the island Grande-Terre in Guadeloupe not to be confused with Habitation Bellevue in Marie Galante. This rum has an ABV of around 88% after the column distillation, thereafter its aged for 2 to 6 months in oak casks whereafter it’s diluted and bottled at 55%. Tested it in a Ti Punch some days ago and it made a perfect one.

Honestly, no interest :/ It hurts to say, but I don't understand the reputation of Damoiseau. In summary, my tasting notes: On the nose: Alcoholic, Salty, Vegetal On the palate: Sugar cane, Salty, Green
