One taster nailed it: "banana bonbon" is the first thing you notice, that green-banana-meets-candy-shop thing, backed by berries, a little salty olive brine and a mineral, herbal freshness. It's a light white from Reunion at 48%, fresh and fruity with texture but only faint ester — closer to banana liqueur than any grand arôme funk.

👃 = I smell a sweet compote of banana, lemon, pepper, slightly mineral and toasted. 👄 = fresh olive is added on the palate in a fatty unctuousness with a little licorice and eucalyptus. Good length.

#5621 31.08.2025 Tasting at the German Rum Fest 2025. This is an OK white considering the price tag,. Fruity and floral qith a touch of mint. Lots of berries in the mix and a hint of nutts. This is one I have to try in a Cola one day.

Very unusual flavor profile. Green banana, as well as artificial gummy bananas from the candy shelf, currant, white raspberry, some salty green olive brine and a fine acidity. Certainly makes a good daiquiri, I have to test that sometime. Would really be interested which distillery this is? 😀

Green banana, blackberries, freshness of eucalyptus. The mouthfeel is slightly creamy and the alcohol is well integrated. There is also a hint of olives Slightly tart finish. Can be drunk but I'm not a big fan of white rum.

Auf der Village'26 zusammen mit DomM bei Vagabond Spirits probiert. Wie immer, die Labels von denen sind wie immer super schön. Man merkt das bei den Beiden, viel Herzblut drin steckt. Für mich auch das wieder eine gute Abfüllung. Denke in Zukunft wird man noch viel von denen hören.

Fresh, fruity, tropical. Light but with texture. Good both neat or in cocktail. Some esters but very tame, it's not grand arôme. The banana aromas are very present but more like a banana liquor rather than ester

25.5.2026 Ochutnáno na online degustaci vagabond spirits rumů, které prezentoval osobně Nicolas Petit , poděkování pak patří rum exploreru tedy Krzysztofovi za perfektní organizaci. Na slepo bych molasový rum spíše nehádal. Banánový bonbón.
