Completely over-sweetened, but if you like that, you'll have fun with this one. Reminds me a bit of one of the Don Papas with a very winter and Christmas-like flavor. In my view, it doesn't have much to do with rum, but it's definitely drinkable.

#6340 06/08.02.2026 My first visit to The Village in Nuremberg and it was a very pleasant surprise. I will definitely attend again as there is more than enough rum going around. This is also a very very sweet rum and not for me. The wood is hidden in the sweetness with some nutts, fruitys and lots of caramel. Extremely sweet and it can copete with Riise on sugar content I think.

Whisky Fair Rhein-Ruhr Düsseldorf April 2026. The smallest fair I've ever been to. First up for me is the T. Sonthi Luxury Edition Rum. I don't find anything luxurious about it, dried fruits and caramel come through, but it's too sweet.

2026 Dresdner Genusstage: Unfortunately sweetened rum, which in the nose reminds me of Storck Riesen caramel. Sweet, harmonious, and round on the palate and finish. Perfect for those with a sweet tooth.

Intense - Toffee, caramel, dark chocolate and screamingly sweet!!! I dare to doubt that these intense aromas do not come from the trick box of food chemistry. I tried it yesterday at the rum dealer I trust and afterwards had to rinse my mouth because everywhere was just sugar, which is also responsible for the long finish. Absolutely not my thing. Those who like A.h. Riise or dessert spirits will love it.
