Sip it neat and you get a light, easy Cuban: apple and citrus up front, vanilla and a little caramel behind them. It's soft and fruity, on the sweeter side, with a fairly short finish. Several tasters found the sweetness a touch much and the middle a bit plain — one summed it up as "sweet Jim Beam." Pleasant, not deep.

Aroma ordinary, dried fruit with vanilla. A hint of apple is interesting. The taste is pleasant thanks to the fresh fruit and vanilla. Less pleasant is the intensity of the sweetness. The finish is rather dry, fruity, spicy with fresh fruit and citrus.

Let's start today with a Planteray from Cuba with 43.7 percent. The nose is immediately very fruity in the direction of apple. The fruit is reflected in the taste and there is also a slight hint of vanilla.
