West Indies Planteray Barbados 2016 (Matured in Amarone wine Cask) Warehouse #1
Sip it neat and the coconut leads — then dried fruit, caramel, chocolate and a soft wine finish from the Amarone cask roll in behind it. At 45% it's rounded and easy, and members agree the wine finish sits well integrated rather than jarring. One taster likens it to a slightly sharper Plantation XO. Pleasant and well-made, just not the kind of pour that grabs you.

Round coconut Barbados with a soft wine finish Well-liked as a rounded, coconut-and-caramel Barbados with a tidy Amarone twist, though more than one member calls it enjoyable but a touch boring.

Review by Martin Ekrt
Ve vůni kokos, sušené ovoce, koření, karamel a vinný finiš je tam taky znát. Chuťově se projeví kokos, karamel, pralinky, káva, čokoláda. V krátkém závěru se projeví finišování, koření a sud. Není to špatné, ale ničím mě to neoslovuje.
Review by Johannes
The Amarone finish is very well integrated. Overall very round, pleasant, but also perhaps a little boring.
Review by Richard Krupa
Sweet pleasant sample, caramel and coconut. Reminds me a lot of a slightly sharper Plantation XO
