8,1:On the nose, the first impression we get are citrus fruits with an orange, tropical and dried fruits, roasted wood notes like nuts, caramel, slightly spicy, mostly with a vanilla, pleasantly round. On aeration, tobacco is out, herbaceous and flowery touch of molasses, the wood is charred, smoky with bacon, spicy with baking spices, a bit medicinal and slightly tannic. 7,8:On the palate, the attack is sweet and syrupy with caramelized brown sugar, tropical fruits like a banana, dried fruits with prunes, figs, raisins and citrus with bitter orange, later yellow fruits arise.The wood goes from roasted to charred, smoked with rest, with notes like leather, bacon, caramel, spicy with baking spices, but vanilla is the first, tobacco is also noticed... 7,5:The finish is quite short, dry, tannic, diluted, still sweet with roasted wood notes, dried fruits, cherry and toasted coconut, slightly spicy, some tobacco stays... Nice Panama rum with familiar notes of tobacco and roasted coffee. Not as terribly sweet as others described it, but also just very thin and still alcoholic on the nose.

Oh how beautiful is Panama... Unfortunately not the case here. The Silver Seal is quite sweet, thin and one-dimensional... on the palate I just barely taste a light fruit note (possibly lychee). Otherwise, besides the taste of sugar-like juice, nothing remains.

Still exciting on the nose, the rum fizzles out in the mouth. This may be due to the low 43%, but overall it seems one-dimensional. Very sweet and easy to drink. Then gone so fast, it's almost surprising. But the nose is quite appealing.

I actually don't mind this one as much. Sure, we do know what to expect with Panama, sugared profile and hopefully some leather or tobacco. This has some tobacco and wood and is smooth as butter. I did not mind this
