Australian Rums Tasting, Rum Club Switzerland. A full nose of dried herbs, vanilla and cedar wood. The alcohol is perfectly integrated. A soft entry on the palate, then the same aromas come to the fore. An effect I particularly appreciate. The finish is long, with dried fruit and cedar wood. The vanilla is light, but at the very end the vanilla wood dominates. A fine rum, complex and generous. A little dirtiness gives it depth.

#6781 13.05.2026 Relaxing with a few samples after my bike training while listening to some nice tracks by Achilles, SASH, Oily James and Hardwell on Spotify. This is also a prety nice rum with a very decent price tag. A fruity rum with nice spices, molases, some sugarcane, faint smoke and light salt.

Aquavitae Mülheim October 2025. Now there's a nice Beenleigh from Blackadder. Very charred nose, also vanilla and oak. On the palate, oak and vanilla again, plus dried fruits, pepper, and baking spices.

Tasted at SITS’24 Classic Beenleigh profile on the nose with applecake, sugared peanuts and fresh dough. As is tradition from this IB: heavy cask influence with primarily charred wood and balsamic, seawind and hints of phenol. In the mouth even more concentrated on wood and cask spice. Opens sweet with cinnamon-apple crumble, nougat, hot coffee and buttered toast. Then less accessible with blackened wood, hints of plastic and an overdose of balsamic. The finish is quite short, uneventful, sugary and dry.

Well, how can you say. Its an average rum. Nice. Sweet. Some wood and stone fruits. Nice. טעימה מבחינתי היה אחד מהבחות טוביל שהיו בטעימה. מתוק. לא מורכב מידיי. דבש. יש שוקולד. קצת מלח. פירות כתומים יבשים כאלה. חמוד סך הכל.
