Very beautiful and harmonious rum from Equador. Great spice, caramel, fruit bread, chocolate, prune and vanilla on the nose. On the palate, the caramel adds a lovely creaminess, which then turns into candied fruit, honey, prunes and fruit bread. There are also spices, chocolate, some leather and roasted nuts. The rum drinks smoothly, as the 51.4% is well integrated. The medium to long finish is pleasantly spicy and full of dried fruit, caramel, chocolate and roasted nuts. Barrel notes, leather and coffee extend the finish, which is just as complex as the nose and palate. Creamy and delicious rum that I can only recommend.
