🟣 HBS – VSOP Esquisse Martiniquaise First VSOP from Habitation Beauséjour, this rum was distilled in 2020 in a small traditional still, then aged 4 years in ex-Cognac oak barrels. Limited to only 1200 copies, it pays tribute to the writer Lafcadio Hearn, who captured the soul of Martinique in his work of the same name. 🔸 Nose: floral, herbal, citrus, touch of spices. 🔸 Palate: vanilla, soft spices, discreet wood. 🔸 Finish: fresh, clean, without heaviness. A promising cuvée that heralds very interesting future old rums.
