The impressive bottle is quite an eye-catcher. On the nose honey, orange peel and vanilla. On the palate sweet vanilla. A hint of mint on the finish and even more orange. One of the better A.H. Riise although the price is disproportionate.

#6795 15.05.2026 While the wife is at work and I have a day off, I can enjoy some samples while watching different movies. Like the usual releases this is a collectors item. A rum with a high price tag compared to what you really get. Another sweet rum with some fruits, honey, chocolate, caramel, roasted wood and some leather.

I had the pleasure of tasting this before it's official release. It's definitely a better A H Riise rum. Very distinct orange flavors with a burnt woody Caramelized palate. Definitely worth a taste if you get the chance. I don't like sweet rums and while this was still very sweet it also packed enough Esthers to be interesting. Of course the prize is way too high comparing the taste with what I like, so could only be relevant as an investment object and then save it for 10+ years. But definitely a better A H Riise.
