Nose: fresh spice, a hint of anise, fruitiness of currant with a citrus splash, slight sharpness from the alcohol but not unpleasant. Sour sweetness of cherries. Palate: initially briefly sugarcane, then over a short bitter wood note to fruity cherry. Then in a curve to citrus. Nicely integrated alcohol. Finish: extended light bitterness of long-brewed tea. Pleasant and tasty.

Here a nice Longteau, very fresh and fruity on the nose. Kursche stands out here. On the palate, you can also taste the barrel. A not quite well integrated alcohol prevents a better rating.
