AP Liquid Pearls Venezuela 2012
"Surprisingly good!" was the verdict from one blind taster, and several others agreed once they got past the nose. At 57% the smell comes off alcoholic, but tasters say the heat settles on the palate into dried fruit, caramel, vanilla and plenty of oak. A heavy, classic Spanish-style profile — one member compared it to an amped-up Diplomatico.
- Well-integrated alcohol
- Dried fruit, caramel
- Long warm finish

Heavy, caramel-and-oak Spanish-style sipper Most find this a rich, well-built Venezuelan with caramel, dried fruit and oak. The nose reads hot, but the alcohol integrates well. Not for fans of dry, funky rum.

Review by Leo Krüper
Klassischer spanischer Stil.
