#5754 28.09.2025 Day two of the Whisky Live 2025, which this year looks better organized/arranged inside. Despite this being a low ABV rum it still carries a lot of flavours. Light wood in good balance with the spices, caramel and pear notes.

Super pour un V.O. ! J ai tout de suite aimé et eu envie de goûter la suite. En plus à ce tarif ça va faire un carton . C est fruité, parfumé et gourmand. je possède un mini fût et j ai l idée de le remplir avec avec. .

Le rhum DBO VO cuvée Elvira est une belle découverte. Le rapport qualité/prix est excellent. Au nez, on est directement sur du fruit tropical légèrement boisé. Au goût le fruité et le boisé sont également dominants. La finale moyenne à longue, est dans la même veine que le début de dégustation.

Dégusté au Rhum Fest Paris, notes à compléter. Un VO à 35€ qui semble imbattable, j'avoue que j'aurai pu me confondre avec un petit Rivière du Mat 6-8 ans. Une belle mélasse bien fruitée, du caramel au beurre, un côté abricot et boisé "poli" qui m'avait fait penser à La Réunion. Super découverte, un must-have pour les débutants.

Je me faisais une joie de le déguster à la lecture des avis et commentaires mais quelle déception. Bien loin de ce que j'aime, je ne m'attendais pas à cela. Un arrière goût fumé pas très agréable et au final assez peu de longueur à mon goût.
