#7140 09.08.2026 Just got a box with lots of Haiti unaged rums and I just can't wait to give them a go. (Found some aged in there as well, yummy) Listening to some nice Armin van Buuren tracks on Spotify. Pretty nice aged Clairin with a decent price tag at release. Intense profile with grass, sugarcane, diesel, rubber, tar, wood, spice, salt and licorice with a topping of smoke.

I can't taste anything of Caroni here. Typical Clairin, relatively herbal, juniper. Not quite round.

I liked this Clairin, but after one bottle, it was enough. On the nose I get freshness, sugar cane, unripe green bananas, olive sweetness, spice, light citrus, light technicolour. Then on the palate, a light medicinal quality and a slight honey sweetness.
