25.09.2025 Relaxing with some samples after finishing my packing for Whisky Live in Paris. Nose Intense, light floral, olive, faint smoke, light herbal, light mango spice, ester, overripe. Palate Intense, oily, fresh, light floral, light orange, banana, overripe, ester, olive, light caramel, sugarcane. Finish long and warm, ester, fruity, sugarcane, mango, olive, light salt. Empty glass Olive, light caramel, light mineral, light chocolate, faint pineapple.

I just found unopened Mhoba samplebottle in my sample storage and now im tasting it. On the nose: Olives, lightly smoky, light floral notes. Vegetal notes. Esters. Taste: Warm, fresh, salty and he mouthfeel is somewhere between lightly creamy and buttery. Olive notes, light floral notes, light citrus notes. Light sugarcane notes at the end. The abv is integrated very well. Finish: Same palate continues at the finish. Olives, salty with that creamy/buttery mouthfeel and little bit of sugarcane notes. Another good rum from Mhoba and good example of this distillerys range.
