#6620 07.04.2026 Back from Blåvand after a very nice day and evening with Fabian. Listening to some nice tracks by Nico Dei, Omiki, Funk Triby and Charlotte de Witte. A pretty good release with a nice price tag on top. The nose is fruity and has nice mint, light chocolate, anise and light wood. The palate is oily and well balanced with light roasted wood, anise, citrus, light mint and chocolate. The finish is long and oily with nice wood, fruits, spice, chocolate, light licorice and mint.

Aged in Lhéraud cognac barrels and STR from Navarre, amber heat. On the nose, it goes straight to the eau-de-vie. On the palate, a little note of acidity appears, slightly buttery texture. Sweet finish with a touch of French oak.

Tasted during the masterclass in Lille. A beautiful cuvée. Cognac cask LHERAUD, STR from the cooperage Navarre with an amber toast. Nose: Eau de vie and apricot side. Palate: Why not raspberry, beautiful oily texture, wood already relatively present for its age. A French oak influence on the finish.

08/03/2026: Brussels Rhum Festival @ Tour & Taxis. A tasty Agricole rhum which was aged in an ex-Cognac barrel. Rather light and thin on the palate, but well balanced and decent. Not very complex though. For the price, tasty stuff.
