#5524 02.08.2025 Relaxing at home after the 18th birthday of my brothers twins. Nose Fresh, sweet, sugarcane, light olive, fruity, faint smoke, faint medicinal, light orange. Palate Oily, fresh, naturally sweet, light olive, faint salt, sugarcane, citrus, vegetal. Finish Medium long, naturally sweet, oily, light orange, vegetal, faint floral. Empty glass Light iodine, light olive, banana, spice, faint floral. Surprisingly good quality considering the price tag.

Tasting at Rhum Fest Paris 2025. 👃 Wow! Very beautiful agricole nose, fresh, fruity and precise. Sugarcane soaked in sunshine, sweetness of fruits, citrus upfront, an undeniable fruit eau-de-vie side, a beautiful herbal freshness, soft spices and olive smoke 🤩 😋 A beautiful sugarcane sweetness, oily and concentrated. Always that impression of fruit eau-de-vie, citrus and tropical fruits in the background, salty spices, green olives, cane stalk, vegetal freshness. ⛳ Combination of sugarcane, sweet and salty, iodine not far, lime zest, slight note of bitter orange liqueur, herbal freshness. 💡 One of the nice surprises in white agricole at the show. A young distillery to watch.

Dégusté au salon Rhum Fest Paris, notes partielles. Une dégustation très cool, et 2 rhums surprenants, pas simple à capter. Un côté eau de vie de fruits, grappa, des notes végétales, iodées, et une belle canne. En ti-punch ca doit être foufou.

A profile similar to the Labat bio with big fruity notes but fresher and more balanced. Certainly the long fermentation of 1 week. On the palate, a strong impression of fruit brandy like mirabelle or pear. Superb in ti punch.

Happened to travel to Ile de la Rèunion as work has taken me there. I purchased this rhum over there, but just tasted when I arrived home. But this didn't affected my senses. Or maybe it does, as anytime I open one of those bottles I bought there, I instantly feel the Rèunion vibes. I think this is a great unaged rhum, can be used as a mixer, but I just enjoy it neat.

It seemed "classic" to me during the first tasting on site, at the sugar factory, while after tasting it again, I fell under the spell of this agricole. An omnipresent sugar cane, a minerality characteristic of the distillery, a super floral side, and a touch of fruits due to esterification. An excellent agricole rum from Réunion, which has everything to look the great distilleries of Martinique or Guadeloupe in the eye!
