#6619 07.04.2026 Back from Blåvand after a very nice day and evening with Fabian. Listening to some nice tracks by Nico Dei, Omiki, Funk Triby and Charlotte de Witte. This is a really good bottling with a very good price tag. The nose is round and vegetal with fruitsy, nutts, herbs, pear and light cinnamon. The palate is oily and naturally sweet with pear, citrus, cinnamon and a vegetal touch. The finish is long and well balanced with citrus, cinnamon, pear and nutts.

Black Parrot bar in London has the biggest rum collection in the UK. Friendly advice, always ask the price before so they wont overcharge you. Madeiran agricole rum from O Reizinho distillery that has been aged 3 years in French oak madeira casks On the nose:Herbal, light medicinal/ vegetal/licorice kind of note? Light wood, light roasted. As the rum opens up you get more fruity notes on the nose Taste:Intense, medicinal/vegetal that had like a mild licorice note as main note. Somekind of toasted nutty notes in the background. Slightly dirty/oily mouthfeel. Good level of sweetness. As the rum opens up you get more sour fruity like sour cherry and citrus notes to the palate. If im not mistaken, this flavour palate somehow reminds me of Luxardo Maraschino Cherry. Complex and the abv is integrated very well. Finish: Light woody, roasted, herbal. Citrus, light medicinal notes. Dry I had no idea what to expect and this was a really nice surprise. This rum is for the rum explorers out there.

Wow! First impression…rum dry curaçao!!! Slight medicinal finish, spicy and woody like some of my favorite Alambique Serrano’s. Nice, soft mouth feel. The finish lingers. So great!!!

My first Madeira was an O Reizinho from TBRC and I loved the dominant note that reminded me of opening a can of tennis balls. This hit exactly that profile I was hoping for and has notes of almond, marmalade, and chocolate.
