A good rum that's very sweet but it misses the spot on the depth of flavour ....slightly disappointing with not a lot of flavours mixed in with the rum and suger

I use this rum for making rum candy balls. Matches the sweetness from the candy pretty well.

On the nose a phantom, barely noticeable notes of fruit and vanilla. On the palate, however, much sweeter. Raisins and a fresh herbal note. Chocolate. In the finish cola gummy candy. Rightly not a rum, but a liqueur.

The ABV is 35% and it’s oversweetend, even sweeter than the DRE. Could be useful as a liquor avec. This will not be classified as a rum according to the new EU regulation that was entered into force on May 25, 2021.
