A fine result from this pure juice with a 7-day fermentation. I slightly prefer its profile to that of "Sur nos pistes". Here we have a nice fat texture, the fruitiness turns to citrus sweetness without acidity. A minty freshness that evolves into licorice.

#7167 15.08.2026 Relaxing with a few samples while watching 51st State on Amazon Prime. Very good rum especially when looking at the price tag. I really like the colourful and artistic label. Medium intense profile with a sweet touch, fruits, mint, sugarcane, floral and some honey.

Tasting at Rhum Fest Paris 2025. 👃 Lovely nose of floral aromas, freshness of flower honey, quite soft and sweet sensation. Note of candied fruits, some spices, a bit of candied citrus. 😋 A fatty texture, quite significant sweetness of honey, beeswax and candied fruits (citrus). Slight menthol freshness. ⛳ Medium length, quite syrupy for a white, nice grip, a vegetal side on candied sugarcane, relative freshness of licorice and ginger.

Tasted at Rhum Fest Paris, partial notes. A very cool tasting, and 2 surprising rums, not easy to capture AT ALL this one. Sweet, honeyed notes, a little beeswax... and that's it? To be reviewed!

Rhum made from galabé syrup, for those who had the chance to consume it in La Réunion, it promised only good things. Super smooth rum, very soft, no trace of aggressiveness, with an equally pleasant profile. Syrupy, indulgent, fresh, mineral and slightly iodized, and a real return of their galabé (the pure sugar produced on the estate). As a fervent consumer of their galabé in all its forms, I am not at all disappointed by this rum which can logically recall Haitian syrup rums, here with much more complexity, in my humble opinion.
