Well! A very one-dimensional rum! Taste-wise, I would suspect a slight dosage! The alcohol is poorly integrated! Somehow one among many average soleras.

Very sweet rum with a strong influence of the Madeira finish. On the nose, sticky-fruity notes of raisins, dates, and syrup, accompanied by vanilla and caramel. On the palate, overly sweet, almost liqueur-like, causing the fruit and wood to completely fade into the background. The alcohol is noticeable but can't balance out the dominance of the sweetness. The finish is short and syrupy. For me, clearly too sweet and lacking balance.

27.04.2019 A relaxing evening with good samples and bottles and a few friends. Notes. Medium dark colour. Nose: wood, alcoholic, caramel, dried fruit. Palate: unbalanced, alcoholic, wood, roasted, dried fruit. Finish: medium long, alcoholic, wood, coffee, light smoke.

Beautiful color, but unfortunately a rather simple profile emerges on the nose and palate - on one hand a very opulent sweetness, which on the other hand is counteracted by the not particularly well integrated alcohol. Overall, a sugary aftertaste with a lot of alcoholic sharpness remains - and thus, in my opinion, only a somewhat convincing drinking experience.
