6,3:On the nose, funky, vegetal and peat, floral, smoky, perhaps like whisky, with sap like tequila, fruity with banana, and pear, sweet with honey, spicy. 6,5:On the palate, the attack is smoky, meaty, burnt with BBQ, bacon, salty, whisky like, with peat, vegetal with green peppers and floral, tequila like, some frankincense, fruity with banana. 6:The finish is funky, mineral, burnt with BBQ, bacon, smoky and spicy, fruity with banana, some peat is noticed.

Once again an outstanding tasting that Artur organized superbly. Many thanks for the introduction to the world of Arra(c)ks. The blends are truly a challenge for the taste buds. But what really surprised me was this BASF bottling. My deepest respect for the time and effort that is always put into it. A real honor to be able to participate in such tastings again and again.

Ich muss sagen dieser Arrack gefällt mir sogar ganz gut. Hat einen eigenwilligen Geschmack, aber ist nicht schlecht. Ist jedenfalls sehr pflanzlich und floral in Nase und Gaumen. Geschmacklich dann auch noch sehr funky.

Arrac(k) tasting 2.0 by Artur. An exciting tasting journey with an impressive range of styles and profiles. Everything from smoky to fruity to spicy was represented – sometimes a bit unbalanced, sometimes surprisingly round. Especially some bottlings showed a lot of character and depth and stayed memorable. A format that’s really fun. Thanks Artur for the opportunity! 😊

Arra(c)k 2.0 tasting by Artur. Like a mezcal nose with a Scottish whisky side too (peaty and smoky). Some fruits. The entry on the palate is diluted, but immediately the mezcal/whisky side takes over with smoky peat. Fruits and a vegetal side. The finish is increasingly smoky and peaty.

Totally crazy and funky!😄 Reminds me strongly of very mineral Tequilas like Ocho or Tapatio. Taste-wise also strong tendencies to Raicilla or Bacanora, generally very agave-like! Plus green pepper, smoke, and banana. Really tasty and extraordinary! 😄

Smoky like Mezcal, funk too. Really good to drink! Arra(c)k Attack 2.0 tasting with Artur all over, from really nasty blends to surprisingly good representatives, all included. Great journey to this spirit completely unknown to me until now.
