Can't really get into this meeting somehow. Apparently that's how it is. Let's see. It's a shame because I really would have liked to be there. So I have to drink the arracks alone. I'm really sad I wasn't there :-(

Once again an outstanding tasting superbly organized by Artur. Many thanks for the introduction to the world of Arra(c)k. The blends are truly a challenge for the taste buds. But I was really surprised by this BASF bottling. My deepest respect for the time and effort always put into it. A real honor to be able to participate in such tastings again and again.

Arra(c)k 2.0 tasting d'Artur. A nose of neutral alcohol (ethanol) and very few aromas otherwise. Verschnitt is 90% neutral alcohol. The palate is highly diluted and even the alcohol struggles to emerge. Extremely light, faint aromas, a little pear brandy and a little pineapple. An alcohol reminiscent of vodka. Very short finish. An uninteresting alcohol-diluted spirit.

Arrac(k)-Tasting 2.0 by Artur. An exciting tasting journey with an impressive range of styles and profiles. From smoky to fruity to spicy, everything was represented – sometimes a bit unbalanced, sometimes surprisingly round. Especially some bottlings showed a lot of character and depth and stayed memorable. A format that’s really fun. Thanks Artur for the opportunity! 😊

Super light and definitely tastes like a blend. Almost 90% neutral alcohol flavored with some Batavia arrack. Overall quite mild surprisingly. Nothing special and not really worth mentioning 😄

Quite neutral, unexciting. But better than the nose suggested. Drinkable. Arra(c)k Attack 2.0 tasting with Artur all across, from really nasty blends to surprisingly good representatives, everything included. Great journey to this spirit completely unknown to me until now.

Weder in der Nase kommt irgendetwas interessantes, noch ist es geschmacklich in irgendeiner Weise besonders. Es ist quasi Neutralsprit. Das Einzige was er halbwegs gut kann ist neutral schmecken. Er brennt kaum und schmeckt nicht richtig eklig.

A little, tiny hint of pear eau die vie at the beginning of nosing and in the mouth, but mostly nothing. In a Punsch this gave no taste at all. This is like the worse version of carta blanca rum. No one needs this
