Komme irgendwie nicht in dieses Meeting rein. Ist anscheinend so. Gucken wir mal. Schade wäre nämlich echt gerne dabei gewesen. So muss ich die Arracks alleine trinken. Bin wirklich traurig darüber nicht dabei gewesen zu sein :-(

Wieder einmal ein überragendes Tasting das Artur super organisiert hat. Vielen Dank in die Einführung in die Welt des Arra(c)ks. Die Verschnitte sind schon eine wahre Herausforderung an die Geschmacksnerven. Wirklich überrascht hat mich aber diese BASF Abfüllung. Meinen tiefsten Respekt für die Zeit und Mühe die dort immer wieder reingesteckt wird. Eine wirkliche Ehre immer wieder bei solchen Tastings dabei sein zu dürfen.

Arrac(k)-Tasting 2.0 von Artur. Eine spannende Tasting-Reise mit einer beeindruckenden Bandbreite an Stilen und Profilen. Von rauchig über fruchtig bis würzig war alles vertreten – teils etwas unausgewogen, teils überraschend rund. Besonders einige Abfüllungen zeigten viel Charakter und Tiefe und blieben im Gedächtnis. Ein Format, das richtig Spaß macht. Danke Artur für die Gelegenheit! 😊

Arra(c)k 2.0 tasting d'Artur. A nose of neutral alcohol (ethanol) and very few aromas otherwise. Verschnitt is 90% neutral alcohol. The palate is highly diluted and even the alcohol struggles to emerge. Extremely light, faint aromas, a little pear brandy and a little pineapple. An alcohol reminiscent of vodka. Very short finish. An uninteresting alcohol-diluted spirit.

Arra(c)k 2.0 tasting mit und von Artur. Eigentlich nur Neutralalkohl, wenn man will könnte man ihn für einen schlechten Obstler halten.

Super leicht und wirkt definitiv nach einem Verschnitt. Quasi 90% neutral Alkohol mit etwas Batavia arrack aromatisiert. Insgesamt aber relativ mild überraschenderweise. Nix besonderes und auch eher nicht der Rede wert 😄

Recht neutral, unaufgeregt. Aber besser als der die Nase erwarten ließ. Trinkbar. Arra(c)k Attack 2.0 Tasting mit Artur einmal quer durch, von richtig fiesem Verschnitt bis zu erstaunlich guten Vertretern alles dabei. Tolle Reise zu dieser mir bis dato komplett unbekannten Spirituose.

Arrack 2.0 @Artur: Schon die Nase verheißt nichts Gutes. Am Gaumen sehr dünn, trotzdem kommt der schlecht eingebundene Alkohol voll durch.

Weder in der Nase kommt irgendetwas interessantes, noch ist es geschmacklich in irgendeiner Weise besonders. Es ist quasi Neutralsprit. Das Einzige was er halbwegs gut kann ist neutral schmecken. Er brennt kaum und schmeckt nicht richtig eklig.

"A little, tiny hint of pear eau die vie at the beginning of nosing and in the mouth, but mostly nothing. In a Punsch this gave no taste at all. This is like the worse version of carta blanca rum. No one needs this"
