Leichte Zitrusnoten, vorsichtig Richtung Clairin. Genießbar, aber dann doch zu wenig von allem.

Erster der nicht so schlecht ist. Balance aus Süße, Frucht, Gewürz. Hinten raus aber unbalanciert Arra(c)k Attack 2.0 Tasting mit Artur einmal quer durch, von richtig fiesem Verschnitt bis zu erstaunlich guten Vertretern alles dabei. Tolle Reise zu dieser mir bis dato komplett unbekannten Spirituose.

Wieder einmal ein überragendes Tasting das Artur super organisiert hat. Vielen Dank in die Einführung in die Welt des Arra(c)ks. Die Verschnitte sind schon eine wahre Herausforderung an die Geschmacksnerven. Wirklich überrascht hat mich aber diese BASF Abfüllung. Meinen tiefsten Respekt für die Zeit und Mühe die dort immer wieder reingesteckt wird. Eine wirkliche Ehre immer wieder bei solchen Tastings dabei sein zu dürfen.

Dieser Arrack ist schon etwas besser trinkbar. Irgendwie durchmischen sich hier eine leichte Süße mit tropischen Früchten. Schmeckt auch irgendwie vergoren und die Nase ist doch recht alkoholisch. Geht so grade.

Arrac(k)-Tasting 2.0 von Artur. Eine spannende Tasting-Reise mit einer beeindruckenden Bandbreite an Stilen und Profilen. Von rauchig über fruchtig bis würzig war alles vertreten – teils etwas unausgewogen, teils überraschend rund. Besonders einige Abfüllungen zeigten viel Charakter und Tiefe und blieben im Gedächtnis. Ein Format, das richtig Spaß macht. Danke Artur für die Gelegenheit! 😊

The first drinkable one out of the Verschnitt options. I actually quite enjoy the nose and texture of this Arrak, it has more body, with tropical fruits and sweetness. Unfortunately, that doesn’t carry through as much in the taste and finish. It turns a bit metallic and briny instead, which is interesting.

Deutlich intensiver und fruchtiger wie die beiden Vorgänger. Überraschend angenehm an der Nase mit einer angenehmen süße und Fruchtigkeit, erinnert an spanische rums die Aktivkohle gefiltert worden. Daher auch die leichte holzigkeit. Relativ angenehm aber auch sehr leicht und flüchtig.

Arra(c)k 2.0 tasting by Artur. Neutral alcohol on the nose, but also honey, butter, tropical fruit and overripe apple. Tropical fruit on the palate, with overripe apple and light oak. The finish is short, some fruit at the very end, but it's the longest of these first three arracks.
