Tasted this rum at my recent visit to Grenada Distillers Ltd (GDL). I’m not especially fond of flavored and spiced rum, but this Bois Bande flavored rum really surprised me with its balance and good taste. The nose is smooth, round, sweet and spicy. At the palate it’s balanced and tastes like the aromas promised with flavors of nutmeg, cloves, cinnamon, allspice, ginger, pepper and vanilla. The finish is rather long.

Distillery visit Grenada Distillers in Grenada September 2026. Unfortunately, we were a bit late for a tour, so we only ordered the Premium Tasting, where we really got to try all the current rums of the distillery. Many thanks to Andre for that. Not bad.
