Tasted this rum at my recent visit to Grenada Distillers Ltd (GDL). I’m not especially fond of flavored and spiced rum, but this Bois Bande flavored rum really surprised me with its balance and good taste. The nose is smooth, round, sweet and spicy. At the palate it’s balanced and tastes like the aromas promised with flavors of nutmeg, cloves, cinnamon, allspice, ginger, pepper and vanilla. The finish is rather long.
