Poured from a bottle that's been open for 2 years, and is ~60% full. Wanted to check in on the first bottle of Fiji rum I ever bought. This was a cask pick for a local bar, and it is delicious. Prominent levels of tropical fruit and "Fiji" funk (hot plastic/rubber), along with noticeable barrel notes leaning more on the sweet side. I think these two really pair well together and helps the rum feel more balanced.
