The surprise here is the mint — a cool herbal note weaving through the vanilla, raisin and honey that you'd expect from a soft Dominican column-still rum. Several tasters catch marzipan and a touch of oak too. Sample no.8 of the 24 days of rum calendar 2023. Nose Sweet raisins, vanilla and tropical fruits. Might be a hint of orange peel or some citrusfruit. Palate Raisins, vanilla, tropical fruits and vanilla from the oak barrels. Sweet and a little dry finish. Nice sipper.

Offers a classic profile with vanilla and dried fruits, accompanied by a subtle mint note and oak spice. It is soft, balanced, and pleasant to drink, remains aromatic but rather unobtrusive. A solid rum with good value for money, but lacking depth and individuality.

Also good this low proof. I taste a slight vanilla and marzipan note. Absolutely good to enjoy neat, in my opinion. But mixed with cola it would definitely make a great long drink. Unfortunately, I won't try that as it's only 2 cl :)

From the 1423 christmas rum-calendar of 2023. Likely the most interesting so far. I think I have tried this one previously. In the nose I found some coconut and vanilla. The notes gave off hints of marzipan, oak and molasses

24 Days of Rum, Blue Edition Fresh and lightly fruity on the nose, restrained and indifferent on the palate, finish first crisp and short, then medium-long and warm. Overall very solid but nothing special.

Sweet, woody and raisin on the nose. Slight hint of mint, light wood. Very sweet on the palate, but well balanced. Vanilla, raisin, honey-like sweetness to maple syrup. Wood a bit stronger. Overall super pleasant and one of the better sweet rums.

Very interesting rum. It is definitely caramelized and oversweet as for me. But in the same time finish is quite long, sweet of course, slightly minty and spicy. I would recommend to try other cristobal rums to compare.

Very nice sweet rum full of chocolate, cocoa, vanilla and raisins. I sense some roasted notes along the way with support of coffee. Very enjoyable rum and a typical one from this destination.

Very pleasant this rum from the Dominican Republic! It is really smooth, fruity and vanilla-flavored. It drinks very well on its own. I haven't tried mixing it in a cocktail but given its so flavorful taste, it should make quite an impression. A good find! A bottle to absolutely keep in your collection but avoid sharing lol

Really weird combo of wood and mint on the nose, that gets overflow of vanilla aoroma and marshmallow, some licorice and then the cotton candy, not horrible but not really something i crave at all. But again, not horrible!
