23-05-2025 - Rate 8.8 31-07-2025 - Rate 8.3 First time tasting was at Whisky Watchers tasting in Vamdrup. Was more found of it at the first tasting. Perhaps the line up had something to do with it. Second time around, still a great rum. Classic Hampden nose. Fruits, banana & methanol. Fine ABV. could use a higher mark, but still one of the better LROK’s I have tasted

Rum calendar 2025, the smell suggests that the rum tastes bad. The rest of the tasting went down the drain.

Overall a good Hampden. However, it is more of an easy sipper than a funky firework. You can clearly smell and taste the typical tropical fruits. As a special note, I keep getting typical Barbados associations in mind. Price-performance ratio is very good.

#5303 09.05.2025 Tasted at our local tasting with Hannes from Whisky Watcher. Nose Fresh, fruity, light wood, pineapple, light orange, spice, faint honey. Palate Round, warm, naturally sweet, fruity, light banana, light orange, spice, faint honey, light cinnamon. Finish Medium to long, fresh, light mango, light honey, faint coffee, light cinnamon.
