Very sweet style, a TDL in the Spanish style with additional sweet wine influence from the PX barrel. For my taste, the aroma profile - especially when we have a rum from Trinidad in the glass - could of course bring a bit more complexity. But in my opinion, that's not the point of this bottling, instead it was obviously aimed at a very easy-drinking release, which nevertheless has no qualitative compromises. And that definitely worked - the alcohol barely noticeable, high drinkability thanks to the sweetness, pleasant woody hints as accompanying notes.

Very pleasant, slightly sweet and with good drinkability. However, little of the classic TDL profile can be recognized, it was obviously finished away. Or was never there, who knows. Detached from expectations of a rum from Trinidad but a good product.
