The odd thing here is the burn sits in the middle, not the start or finish — one taster called that "a wierd middle taste" for a rum. It's a light, thin Cuban column-still spirit with cherry and a sharp alcoholic edge. Pleasant enough on the rocks, but most people land on the same verdict: this is a mixer, not a sipper.

Kein besonderer Rum, ich war leider enttäuscht über die flache Note, keine Tiefe in Geruch und Geschmack. Zum mixen kann man diesen Rum nehmen, aber man darf nicht eine besondere Cuba Libre oder sonst einen Cocktail erwarten. Irgendwie belanglos.

A wierd middle taste which is unusual for a rum as it's usually the burn at start or the end ... It is a high quality mixer rum that I had on the rocks first then mixed it and it was pure genius ... Lovely balance unique in its own way
