Finde den gar nicht sooo schlecht, gibt bessere, klar, aber was sollst. Finde er geht ein wenig Richtung Guyana, Jamica kann man hier nur dank der geringen Ester erkennen. Whisky und Alkohol dringend auch leider stark durch.

How can you ruin a Jamaican like this? The "rum" reminds me of some kind of fusel, diluted and flavored. You can taste lychee, grape, some vegetal notes and whisky, which in my opinion don't harmonize.

A heavily finished Jamaican that once again overshadows the actual rum aroma. I almost only taste lightly fermented sweet grapes and minimal smoky whisky aroma. And unfortunately, that’s not my thing at all.

Oh man, - ultimately another soft-finished rum that has completely lost its character because of this. You can barely guess a bit of Jamaican ester. The rest is hidden under the sweet grape and whisky note.

Thanks to BananaJoe for digging up this piece, wherever it was found. Personally, I didn't like this bottling at all because of the very dominant whisky influence. In my opinion, it completely ruins the base material.

Overall a good rum. But because of the wine barrel finish, I honestly can't really taste the base spirit anymore. Anyone looking for esters here will be disappointed. I can't taste anything from the Scotch barrel.

a hint of Jamaica and a nice balance between the acid andvthe fruits, buttery, on the nose. But quite subtle and not convincing. Palate is just left with herbs, buttery flavor and a touch of ester. Smooth sipper

At the nose I first perceive distinct alcohol. A bit of fruit and floral notes. On the palate it is completely different. Nutty-creamy note, plus light sweetness and also a medicinal note. Overall not bad. Alcohol is well integrated.
