Opinions run middling here: some enjoy this little Cuban for its dry, easygoing character, while others find the alcohol too far forward for a 7-year-old at 38%. Expect tobacco, orange peel and a toffee-cocoa sweetness, plus a grassy, slightly tannic finish. One taster loved "the dryness of this rum," another simply wouldn't buy it again — a fine, unfussy sipper without much depth.

I had the chance to finish a friend's bottle at the end of a meal and I quite liked this little Cuban that doesn't lack liveliness despite its low strength. Tobacco, caramel, and orange zest. Not much depth but rather nice. I'm surprised by the notes that seem harsh to me!

I have been told This is havana 7 hut local but I'm nit convinced . The dryness of this rum is lovely . Nosing Toffee, cocoa , caramel Tasting Coffee

Smells and tastes of tobacco. The alcohol is too overpowering for my taste. I won't be buying this rum again. There are better 7-year-olds from Cuba.

Tight aroma, but it is rum. A little caramel candy on a stick, grass, sweetness. The taste is initially enveloping, then a bit of barrel bitterness, then herbaceousness. The aftertaste is below average, barrel and grass.
