Review by Chrischi78
A fruity Jamaican rum with pineapple, tropical fruit and floral notes. Very accessible, the alcohol is a little edgy. Slightly medicinal, mild, medium-long, fruity finish.

8,5:On the nose, esters and glue, grassy, flowery, fresh molasses with tea, fermented tropical fruits like banana, pineapple, citrus fruits, green fruits, cedar wood, roasted and rubber, bump into our nosetrils. On aeration, caramel is out, the wood is spicy with allspice, smoky, the molasses is very fresh, minty, sour cherry pops up. 8,4:On the palate, the attack is medicinal with esters and glue, the molasses is sweet with honey, fresh with tea, flowery with lavender, grassy, fruity with tropical fruits like banana and pineapple, maracuja, citrus fruits, some are candied, the apple is baked, as the wood is roasted with burnt sugar, caramel, chocolate, spicy with baking spices, ginger. 8,4:The finish is medium long, dry&tannic, with toasted/roasted oak, smoky, spicy, pairing flowery(lavender) molasses, dark with black tea, earthy with cigar tobacco and various fruits with coconut, fermented banana, pineapple, some glue.

A great Jamaican that bears a strong resemblance to Queen Nanny in crosstasting. Lots of tropical fruit, glue, wood and a little ester. The sour cherry is noticeable again, accompanying the nose and palate. Passion fruit can also be tasted, as well as light spices and burnt sugar. However, the alcohol is a tick better integrated than in Queen Nanny.

Solid Clarendon that doesn't stand out. Good value for money.

Very fruity, not too many esters. Becomes much spicier with water but also even fruitier.
Review by Volkmar Weber
A surprisingly "funky" fragrance with mild esters that immediately transports you to Jamaica - but without the heavy, spicy intensity of a Hampden. Instead, this rum impresses with its fine fruitiness with fresh pineapple and tart green apple notes - very accessible and extremely aromatic. The palate is again full of fruit, but without the force of typical Jamaican ester bombs. Ideal for newcomers to the world of Jamaican rums, as it is smooth and balanced. The alcohol is excellently integrated. Exotic fruits such as pineapple, papaya, passion fruit and some mango dominate, accompanied by mild spices such as cinnamon and a hint of clove, which gives it a slightly medicinal note. The finish is rather light and medium-long, with subtle notes of wood and fruit.

Sublte, balanced and fruity. Accessible. Easy sipping. Very enjoyable but maybe a bit light.
