Für mich eine sehr komische Abfüllung. Trotz, dass er nicht das Fassstärke Monster ist, wirkt er auf der einen Seite sehr alkoholisch und auf der anderen Seite arg verwässert. Australien scheint nicht so meine Welt zu sein.

#5548 11.10.2025 Visiting the Whisky Live Hamburg 2025 event. It was the first of its kind and went off pretty well. They still have to learn a lot about running an event like this. People were allowed to bring backpacks and even cabin bags to the event and that is a problem in my mind. This one wasn't really me. A light slightly unbalanced Australia in my mind. Fruity with a floral touch mixing with some nuts and chocolate.

Australia Artur Advent Calendar 2025 (6.1) This rum is on the light fruity side with a bitter woody aroma in the finish. Intense on the tongue and at the same time it feels diluted. 46% abv tip: 12 years Sherry finish

Erstmal das Etikett mit dem Schnabeltier drauf ist eigentlich ganz niedlich. Aber das zählt nur so halb es geht ja um den inhalt...und da fangen meiner meinung nach die Probleme an. Werder der PX noch der Oloroso sherry kommen hier wirklich gut raus. Er schmecht sehr holzig sehr würzig für einen sherry rum. Im mund und im abgang hatte ich ne Minz note das war ganz interessant aber mein geschmack drift er auch nach dem 5 probieren nicht.

Arturs Adventskalender Australien 2025 Türchen 6.1. Kam etwas wässrig rüber, trotzden hatte ich den ABV höher getippt. Ansonsten in der Nase sowie am Gaumen recht holzig und nussig. Etwas Karamell ist am Gaumen auch noch erkennbar.

Australia Advent Calendar 2025 (6.1). A rather soft nose of dried fruits, yellow fruits, vegetal, floral and slightly fermented. The palate is soft, almost sweet, diluted. Then the aromas rise a bit with gourmand notes of butter caramel, dried apricots and coconut oil. The alcohol feels very light. Arturs Advent calendar Australia #6.1: At first I was very undecided. Not a bad nose, but almost indeterminate fruity and slightly spicy aromas. Alcohol is not noticeable. From the palate on, no more fruit; only wood and sweetness.

Australien-Adventskalender von Artur: erneute eine positive Überraschung. Gut ausgewogen, die Reduktion auf Trinkstärke funktioniert prima und scheint eher Aromen herauszukitzeln als zu verwässern. Natürlich ist alles etwas zugänglicher als bei hochprozentigen Releases, insgesamt schön rund und süffig.

Stimme den bisherigen Testern in der Bewertung zu, dennoch möchte ich den Flensburg Rum etwas nach oben heben, da er als ungezuckerter Rum mit etwas mehr PS und den Geschmack von Holz und Früchte, ein hervorragender Rum für den Übergang nach mehr ist, ohne zu überfordern. Hampden und Co können dann später kommen. English Harbor wäre auch so ein super Kandidat für den Übergang 😅👍

Pleasant daily sipper. Also good for beginners, very pleasant to drink at 43%. Good value for money. Fruity and pleasant on the nose, with slight traces of mint and wild berries on the palate.
