A lovely rum showing off what this destillery is capable off. I always admired them for the consistency in their old rums. Fruity from nose to finish. Less plum compared to the 1980 and slightly more wood without being dominant. Love the balance of the spices.

La Flibuste in all its splendor in a vintage that has become rare. The balance is total between fruit and spices, a seductive nose full of subtlety, a creamy and long mouth where the prune marker knows how to be discreet. The three decades of barrel aging have magnified it. My favorite from La Favorite.
