Tasted this Agricole at Cane Rum Society (CRS) in Stockholm that has around 2000 different rum bottles on their shelves. It’s a single cask rum picked by the Swedish importer Lars Renbjer to celebrate his 20 years in the business. It’s distilled in 2012, aged in American ex-bourbon barrels for 12 years, whereafter it’s bottled in 265 bottles. It’s well balanced, woody, fruity, vegetal and spicy with scents and flavors of oak, vanilla, cane, cinnamon and gingerbread.
