Exciting, very special rum! Taste-wise lots of nuts, raisins, chocolate, but also slight overripe fruits towards strawberry. Very exciting!

This bottling and I do not match. On the nose I have an aroma... that somehow repels me. It reminds me of stomach acid... On the palate I perceive little rum aromas. Everything rather reminds me of a whisky. Well, it was worth a try.

Very very special.... and not at all my cup of tea . The nose is characterized by eucalyptus sweets with smoky sweet BBQ sauce... mmh . On the palate first sweetness then immediately dried fruit and eucalyptus some whiskey and smoke. Mmh hard to grasp the whole thing... Long sweet finish.

#5155 01.03.2025 Tasted at the Whiskymessen.dk in Kolding. Nose Sharp, light wood, faint roasted, fruits, whisky, light raisin, spice. Palate Light wood, light roasted, dried fruit, whisky, spice, light nutts. Finish Long, spice, wood, roasted, light raisin, whisky. Price to quality is not up to par in my mind.

If you like whisky you will feel at home here, because blind tasted you would place it somewhere in the Scottish Highlands rather than identifying it as rum. The nose is very musty, yes I even mean with off notes. On the palate then round and a very prominent whisky note.

Ah difficult. First off, I like whisky and also smoky. But I don't notice much of that here. Rather very fermented fruits leaning towards lactic smell. I find it difficult and rather a flaw. In the mouth it's better and reminds me more of Savanna, although of lower quality. Otherwise quite exciting. Alcohol well integrated.

Definitely not my thing, I even doubt by now if this is really a rum. I would have blindly guessed 100% whisky here, which is not my thing at all. I couldn't even really get it down with cola.
