Australia Artur’s Advent calendar day 16. Le végétal amer domine ce nez avec un côté un peu médicamenteux et des fruits jaunes un peu trop mûrs, un beau rôti allant même sur le café amènent pas mal de complexité. La première bouche est ample, aromatique et plus sombre et profonde que de nombreux rhums australiens. La finale est aussi plus longue avec de l’amertume, du bois et comme du sucre brûlé.

Artur's Australia Advent Calendar 2025 door 16. My favorite so far, the last rums were all solid. Here again more (dried) fruits, but also woody, as well as roasted and leathery.

#5932 08.11.2025 Relaxing with some samples after shopping in Flensburg. Preparing for our little online tasting later today. Nose Fresh, medium intense, wood, floral, dried fruit, light nutts, faint marzipan, light coffee. Palate Oily, wood, dried fruit, light floral, light leather, light earthy, faint mint, apple, light chocolate. Finish Long, wood, light coffee, light chocolate, dried fruit. Empty glass Light mint, floral, chocolate, light caramel, light coffee.

Artur's Advent calendar Australia: A really exciting rum. On the nose still reserved with sugarcane, wood, spices, and light dried fruits. On the palate then a medley of citrus fruits, especially grapefruit and bitter orange. Also very oily and a syrupy sweetness that lasts long into the finish. I like it a lot.

Ferroni Australia 2013 - 62.3 % sales A Beenleigh with an atypical background: 3 years in ex-bourbon barrels (tropical ageing in Australia) 3 years in Beaumes-de-Venise muscat barrels (Provence) 4 years in vintage cognac barrels The result is a full-bodied, lively palate, with aromas of tobacco, dark chocolate and a leathery finish. Surprising, but coherent given its impressive finish.
