Sherryfinishes und ich werden normalerweise keine Freunde. Dementsprechend vorsichtig bin ich auch an diese Abfüllung herangegangen. In der Nase ein schönes Potpourri aus Rosinen, Beeren, Einflüsse aus den zwei verschiedenen Reifungen und ein bisschen Fass. Dies setzt sich am Gaumen fort. Zusätzlich kann der Rum von Feller mit ein wenig Milchschokolade und einer feinen Süße aufwarten. Feine Sherrynoten für die andere Abfüller ab und an schon mal einen Rest Sherry im Fass vergessen "müssen". Ein wenig störend finde ich die leicht seifigen Aromen im Nachklang. Best friends werden wir nicht, aber es ist für mich schon mehr als nur ein solider easy sipper.

Feller hat ja für eine deutsche Destillerie echt geile Rums. Hier kommt nur leider das Sherry Cask etwas zu deutlich durch, leider. Ansonsten recht nett, die 62,8% kaum spürbar, leichte Süße, Karamell und Vanille sind erkennbar.

#5933 08.11.2025 Relaxing with some samples after shopping in Flensburg. Preparing for our little online tasting later today. Nose Fresh, medium intense, wood, light sherry, dried fruit, faint caramel, faint earthy. Palate Warm, round, fresh, wood, medium intense, dried fruit, light citrus, light nutts, light chocolate, light sherry. Finish Medium to long, wood, light raisin, light chocolate, faint nutts, light sherry. Empty glass Light vanilla, chocolate, light nutts, light burnt sugar.
