The surprise here is how minty this TDL runs — menthol and eucalyptus over creamy vanilla, citrus and dried fruit, with roasted wood and a touch of chocolate underneath. 8,3:On the nose, menthol, roasted wood notes like cocoa, roasted nuts, spicy, citrus, yellow fruits and mango, bump into our nosetrils, slightly rigid. On aeration, red fruits, dried apricots and grapes arise, metallic patina and rubber, minty molasses and some caramel. 8,8:On the palate, the attack is an upgrade towards the nose, delicious with flowery and minty molasses honey, pairing fruits like mandarine, or better, marmelade with prunes, dried apricots, raisins, currants and red fruits, later peaches, intermingled with roasted wood notes like pastry, butterscotch, roasted nuts and dark chocolate, slightly spicy.When well oxidized, eucalyptus is out, some rubber. 8,4:The finish is, dry&tannic, less diverse, smoky, earthy, as darker roasted wood notes try to pair yellow, tropical and dried fruits. Today seems to be the day of weird rums. Here’s a T.D.L, you can clearly detect mint, but somehow it’s quite strange, very creamy as well this rum, you can notice vanilla, honey, and wood, it’s also very toasty.

#6111 24.12.2025 The final samples before tonights Christmas Party with some nice food and family. Nose Light wood, faint smoke, light orange, light chocolate, apricot, dried fruit, mint. Palate Round, light peppery, light wood, mint, light chocolate, dried fruit, faint smoke, citrus, faint rubber. Finish Medium to long, light wood, mint, light nutts, light chocolate, faint herbs. Empty glass Mint, chocolate, light honey, mango, light herbs.

Petite dégustation Precious Liquors du RCS. Un nez de bananes trop mûres, puis avec de l’aération, arrivent d’autres fruits, des agrumes, des figues, du bois de cèdre et du menthol. Belle première bouche avec encore plus d’arômes et de fruits qu’au nez, belle complexité tutti frutti et toujours le menthol rafraîchissant. Le bois est en soutient. Un léger pimenté se développe en finale. La finale est hélas un peu trop courte, à part un goût de caramel au beurre qui persiste assez longtemps. Un rhum qui nécessite de l’aération avant d’offrir son plein potentiel.

I probably wouldn't have guessed a pure TDL here. I would have rather guessed a blend with a predominant Barbados share. Light mint and peach can be detected in the background. On the nose, I find the alcohol sharp despite 30 minutes of breathing.

On the nose: Fresh fruity, citrus notes mixed with woody, menthol, roasted notes. Minty notes pop up here and there. Taste: Little bit of honey and vanilla upfront and then you get more roasted notes, eucalyptus and minty notes. Light woody notes after that. Light citrus notes. Hard to describe the overall palate, maybe mainly citrus and eucalyptus notes mixed with pastrie notes. The abv is integrated well Finish: Short and dry finish with mild notes of wood and citrus notes. I somewhat liked the flavour palate that this rum offered, but the finish was pretty weak, so that drops the score for me.

On the nose, there are citrus notes, bright fruits, a hint of mint, and some menthol. Very elegant and fresh. On the palate, it comes alive: minty freshness, citrus accents, a touch of tropical fruits. The finish is really smooth and harmonious – creamy vanilla ice cream, more citrus and tropical flavors, accompanied by mint and a cool menthol kick. The alcohol is wonderfully integrated, super easy to drink.

A three-stage experience! The first nose on this TDL is quite indulgent and pastry-like, with loads of vanilla and coconut. On the palate, peach and orange come through strongly, accompanied by notes of black tea, menthol, and pronounced woodiness. The finish is almost like burnt wood, smoky, with tannins and coffee—it’s much more powerful and almost spicy. A growing evolution that’s quite disorienting but enjoyable. Atypical!

Quite a nice release, more of a Spanish style. Mint is only subtle, and overall the flavor is rather understated. Not bad, but it doesn't really stand out in terms of taste either.

The nose reveals subtle citrus notes, warm vanilla pudding with melted butter and light fruits, a hint of mint, some menthol and light eucalyptus sweets - very elegant and fresh. The palate is lively: minty freshness, citrus accents, a touch of tropical fruit. The finish is really round and harmonious - creamy vanilla ice cream, citrus and tropical again, accompanied by mint and a cool menthol kick. The alcohol is wonderfully integrated, super drinkable. You can smell the empty glass forever and imagine yourself in a large Italian ice cream parlor.

A different TDL them i'm used to, but nice experience. Nose grape and figs, herbal and roasted. Getting lot's cake and other sweets from the palate. Nice dessert! Shame about the short finish.
