The nose gives hope, with beautiful fruity ester notes. A little unrounded on the palate, light esters, peach, marzipan, wood, bitter notes, in any case Jamaica dominates.

Leider ein totale Enttäuschung, geruch zuviel Acricole und sehr süß. Geschmacklich auch kein hit. Kann den komischen geschmack nichtmal wirklich beschreiben, absolut nicht mein fall. Ist die frage was ich aus dem rest der flasche mache😡 Schade, die letzten abfüllungen von WDC waren alle nicht so dolle... aber dafür teuer.

Un classique à avoir sur l’étagère ! Nez expressif pour ce blend dont ressort la Jamaïque et la Barbade pour ma part ! En bouche une belle intensité ! Avec ses notes funky de la Jamaïque ! Finale courte à moyenne

The name says it all and pretty much hits the mark. It definitely delivers what it promises. A sipper of the darker, spicy kind that can be enjoyed in a relaxed manner. This is partly due to the low ABV. Overall "nice"😉

#5180 22.03.2025 Tasting at Whisky Watcher in Odense. Nose Medium intense, light wood, fruity, spice, light herbal, light ester, faint chocolate. Palate Round, light wood, light ester, fruity, light pineapple, light banana, warm, spice, light cinnamon. Finish Medium to long, light wood, faint caramel, light herbal, fruits, light citrus, light ester.

Zu allererst einmal ein DICKES DANKESCHÖN an TheDunderHut, wieder bei dem Wird&Blind Set dabei gewesen zu sein. Zusammen mit DomM wurde sich dieser Aufgabe gestellt. Leider kein Einhorn dabei gewesen, aber tolle rare Sachen probiert, an die man sonst nicht so gut rankommt. Einzig die Geschichten zu jeden einzelnen Rum des Spliters dazu habe ich wirklich vermisst zu.

Ein schönes Etikett mit dem passenden Namen für diesen Rum. Würzig mit angenehmen fruchtigen Jamaika Estern. Ein leckerer easy Sipper. Der Alkohol ist nicht sehr gut eingebunden, liegt vllt an einem Anteil junger Jamaikaner im.Blend.

Wie's der Name schon sagt: ein Easy-Sipping-Rum. Jamaikanischer Background von Nase bis Abgang zu erkennen. In der Nase Vergorenes, mit Estern und Tropischen Früchten. Im Gaumen mehr Gewürze, vor allem Piment. Im Abgang hat er etwas von Backgewürz.

Fermented fruit on the nose and very light marzipan like a Hampden C<>H. On the palate, the Jamaica component, which dominates the nose, recedes somewhat into the background, with sweetish aromas of a more Spanish style in the foreground. The youthfulness of the young part comes through somewhat and the finish is not very long. In the end, the individual components of the blend harmonize quite well with each other, the result is not bad, but doesn't knock you off your feet either. Not a bad blend for sipping, but I liked other comparable ones from Rumclub (Navy) or RdL better.

Sippers Rum. Die Aromen in der Nase mit deutlich jamaikanischer Prägung. Ordentlich Ester Funk ist zu spüren dazu viel Würze. Diese überwiegt auch am Gaumen, schmiegt sich gut an und rutscht sanft den Gaumen runter. Der Name ist hier tatsächlich Programm. Könnte für meinen Geschmack am Gaumen mehr Frucht vertragen, aber da man länger am Produkt gearbeitet hatte sollte es wohl genau so sein. Und Geschmäcker sind verschieden. Schönes warmes Finish

Ve vůni cítím jen mladou Jamajku. Možná esterový Clarendon nebo snad Hampden. Ostatní složky jsou upozaděné. Škoda, že vím jen to, že se jedná o blend Jamajky, Latinské Ameriky a Asie. V chuti tam krom jamajského rodokmenu taky nic moc nepoznávám. Nenáročný, přístupný rum.

Solid blend. More on the low ester side. Nice texture with wood and some sweetness. Clarendon (?) spices and some fruits.
