Poured from a bottle opened for ~6 months, mostly full. For a Rhum months short of its 10 year aging, this is a powerhouse. Strong mint and peaches akin to some TDLs out there, with various teas stewing in the background. The French oak has made this very drying and austere, but the Rhum keeps on going on the palate regardless. Distillate is present but isn't much more of a fleeting part in this ensembles of flavors. This is a killer Rhum, and one that I'm glad to have a bottle of.

Fruity JM, at first almost reminiscent of a TDL on the nose with fruit (peach, passion fruit) and some mint. Some apple on the palate and then the Agricole spice slowly emerges.

Very nice J.M, with quite a high degree of maturity. Very intense for 50%, with a really appealing interplay of aromas. Great PLV.
