Powerful and tropical with notes of cherry, compote and rhubarb. The cask maturation comes through well. Very good drinking strength, multi-layered and round, a true pleasure rum with depth. Limousin oak was new to me until now. A special bottling for the Maritim Hotel in Mauritius. I found the rum very cool, but don't know if it's a contrast effect because the rest of the rums tasted were less good. They wanted 240 for the bottle which was a bit too much for me.
